The above assertion might not be totally correct but the bottom line is that we train our maids while our children are idle at home.
Our kids wake when they feel like, bath, play games, watch cartoons and movies. The only interval is food which might be passed to them by the maids.
We've seen young girls complain to their mother that their maid who is younger in age did not wash their clothes very properly. The horrible part is that these girls can't even wash there under-wears.
What about our boys? They play games, watching the house boys do the chores, they sit and watch him wash cars only to complain that the cars are not well washed, when these boys can't even pour a bowl of water on cars. Haba! parents are doing more harm than good to them.
Parents please once your daughter is of age, teach her how to wash the dishes, how to wash clothes, how to sweep the house and make her see it as a hobby, a duty and not a punishment, for her better tomorrow. How about cooking? My dear TAB readers that's a story for another day.
For our little boys, parent should endeavour to make them independent early in life, allow them to join the kitchen sometimes, wash the dishes, even if they cannot wash the cars properly, let them see it as fun doing it while you can re-wash after.
let's make our kids better people, let's stop training the maids to be better people only to await complaints later in life from friends and family.
